AAPOA BOARD MEETING

 

 

Date:  September 3, 2011

 

Time:  10:00 AM

Attendance:  Rick Zuniga, Tammy Thoe, Edith Coffman, Lanny Hoel, Nell Carnein, Barbara Gulla, Yvonne and Jim Nash, Cindy and Stacy Yeoman

 

Meeting called to order at 10:04

 

TREASURER'S REPORT:

 

            1)  Balance:  $8,424.14 ($2,000 in construction fees)

           

            2)  Two CDs:  $2, 018.19 and $1,057.46

 

            3)  Thirty-four 2nd notices were sent out—18 still unpaid

 

            4)  Collections will be discussed at next board meeting

 

            5)  New residents:

                        77 Silver Trail—William Hoogeboom

                        37 Silbani—William and Robbie Trichell

                        503 Banner—Elaine Thannum

                        186 Denwood—Richard and Jeanette Woods

                        151 Denwood—Thomas and Beverly Work

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

            1)  Entrance sign work is on hold

 

            2)  Rick will compose letter (for entrance) to be sent to Home Depot

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

            1)  Official vote on Jim Nash for empty board position—Jim was unanimously                         voted in

 

            2)  Realty sign on Winterer's property—removed

 

            3)  Horse issue on 306 Daniwood Grove (Filing 4)—on hold; Rick is checking on                  covenants for Filing 4

 

PUBLIC COMMENT:

 

            1)  What can be done about trash cans left out and strewn garbage/trash?

 

            2)  What can be done about shooting in the subdivision?

 

            3)  Road maintenance:  Call DOT (see AA website)

 

            4)  Ongoing issue with property behind 23 Laabu—Rick will send another letter

 

            5)  What can be done about dead trees/brush/slash piles—fire mitigation?
