AAPOA BOARD MEETING

April 14, 2007

Time: 6:00 p.m.

 

Place: 23 Sildona

 

Attendance: Sue Thomas, Tammy Thoe, Sandy & Rick Zuniga, Stacy & Cindy Yeoman,  Steve & Linda Strum, Chuck & Robyn Hallam, Aaron Sams & Marilyn Callan

 

OLD BUSINESS/MANAGERS REPORT:

 

1)      Received thank you letter from the Pikes Peak Medical Center for the donation that the POA made for $100

 

2)      The Pikes Peak Medical Center is offering tours of the new hospital at 3:30 every Friday. If interested will need to call 686-0302 to RSVP.

 

3)      Newsletter will be mailed out within the week.

 

           

TREASURER’S REPORT:

 

1)      Balance $5,635.07 ($3,000 in construction fees)

2)      Directors’ & Operators insurance for $1,415 has been paid. Waiting for liability insurance to be received.

 

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

1)      Agenda for the annual in progress. Ballets will be provided for election of officers. Snacks will be provided plus door prized will be given away.

 

2)      Copies of the amended and reinstated covenants for filings 1, 2 & 3 was mailed out certified mail with a letter explaining to process that is now taking place.

 

3)      Two publications at different times will go out in the local newspaper in regards to the POA working on reinstating the amended covenants.

 

4)      Per SB100 & SB89 all POA’s are required to have documentation of all policies and procedures. These will be done for Arabian Acres with in the next two months and posted to the web site. 

 

5)      Steve Strum is interested in helping with the architectural control and will be elected onto the board at the annual meeting.

 

6)      Qwest has DSL available in the area. If interested on getting hooked up on DSL residents can contact Qwest at 800-491-0118 and will be put on a waiting list. It is an automated system, so when calling you will need to say “customer service”.

 

7)      The board strongly encourages anyone with concerns/issues to please attend a monthly meeting to voice those concerns/issues.

 

No board meeting for May due to the annual meeting that will be held May 6th at the Lost Dutchmen in Trout Haven at 3:00pm to 6:00pm
